Smart move for Mieville, to partner with Keanu. He's been in hiding for a few years because of him being an abuser coming to light, but people are easily enticed to forget.

Oh yikes, I love Miéville's work and I hadn't even heard about this, so his tactic must've worked.

I've been a fan for years and heard about it at the time. It has been largely taken off the internet as a result of legal action but my impression at the time was that it could have been a tremendous misunderstanding of a female partner thinking she was more important than she was, or it could have been something more insidious. From what the woman wrote, I could not tell if it was anything beyond a bad break up. So while I do not disregard her, there's nothing in the court of my mind to come to a decision on what happened.

Thanks for your insights, I've been trying to read up on it but it's pretty hard to find info since a lot seems to have been deleted. I really do love his work so I'll see how I feel next time I pick up one of his books I guess.
