lol maybe that's the real reason they canceled Farscape after 88 episodes. At least they gave it a 4-hour miniseries to remedy the cliffhanger.

I think, but I’m not 100%. I believe that was why there was Suite Life and then Suite Life on Deck, and I’m sure other “spin offs” with popular shows.

100 episodes was to get syndication which is when the big residuals might actually start happening.

100 was when syndication usually kicked in with residuals. So if they were under 100 most channels wouldn't pick them up for reruns
