i don't know a lot about this guy, i'm not a regular viewer but i have seen him do some k-pop interviews and there is something slimy about him.

and yes, when i did competitive speech in high school a girl from our rival school tried to talk shit about me to someone else on my team. my sister.

Unfortunately, slimy or not he’s one of few interviewers who don’t ask kpop groups dumb questions. Like actually researches the groups and ask questions about their music and stuff. But I think one of my fandoms quit him after something he said a few years ago. I don’t remember what. I’m no good at watching his entire videos so I don’t even try these days.

see i've heard that he does research and asks good questions but i've also seen him make faux pas and ask uncomfortable questions that actual research would have prevented. like directly asking monsta x about wonho not being there the second time he interviewed them. and something about asking blackpink about writing their music, iirc, which they don't do. things that don't really have a good way of being answered.

i got the impression that he wanted to seem more than he was but maybe i'm just looking for an explanation as to why i disliked him.

yeah I’ve never really cared for her and Brooke and I dont listen to their podcast but just being on TikTok it’s crazy to see how many viral moments they’ve had that are increasing their goodwill, they’re both a lot wittier than I have them credit for. I’m glad the Cody Ko stuff is finally gaining steam too
