Jfc, he's not dropping out. All these anonymous sources saying certain Democrats are asking him to step down are just media manufactured to stoke anxiety and ratings. It happens every July of every election year. Until we hear directly from Obama or the other politicians directly, and not through these anonymous "insiders", then it's not happening.

The supposed people calling for him to step down have nothing to lose. Most women, POC and union workers, which is his base, are urging for him to stay and he has given no indication to them recently he'll give up. I'm coming off as "aggressive" because this is an aggressively stupid situation that the media outlets continue to perpetuate.

I could see both things being true and I hate Schiff, but Schiff publicly called for him to step down.

True. His big donors also have donated to Republicans. 193 out of 213 House Democrats, 45 out of the 47 Democratic Senators and all 23 Democratic Governors fully support President Biden. That's the majority. Plus the ones calling for him to step down want to skip over Kamala and just install another candidate of their choosing less than 4 months before the election. This would be extremely unwise and could easily hand 45 the election.

I am not in favor of Biden stepping down because I'm worried the Republicans will frame it as treason and refuse to allow the new candidate on the ballot in certain states.

I still can't believe we handed Schiff a senate seat, he's so far right on the spectrum.
