sorry that was a typo! I meant 2021. the rest has only ever been speculated through DeuxMoi blinds, and others have speculated that John and his ex-wife had been separated by the time he entered rehab in 2020

I believe AMT removed his last name from her SM profiles around late 2020 (either Nov or Dec), so they were already separated for a few months by the time him and Olivia got together.

Seems like things quickly unraveled in late 2020. They were temporarily in DC for an externship she had at the Smithsonian. They were photographed at a George Floyd protest in June 2020 and John mentioned DC in a few interviews. In her Harper's Bazaar article she mentioned they bought the house in Connecticut in June 2020 so she returned there alone by winter when she started taking all those photos

Maybe but eh, separation isn’t equal to divorce for some as it can be used as an opportunity to take space and work things out or ultimately decide on divorce. It makes for a good cover if he did cheat tho.

I agree. It depends entirely on what their respective understandings of the separation were. I'm of the view that he didn't cheat, but also likely didn't go about things in the right way. But ultimately it's not my business and I just hope all three of them (plus John and Olivia's child) can find happiness and peace.
