Paul Mescal Says It Would Be “Amazing” If ‘Gladiator II’ and ‘Wicked’ Replicated Barbenheimer

While it seems like #Barbenheimer was one of those phenomenons that will never be replicated, #GladiatorII and #WickedPartOne have a chance to bring the same friendly competition to the big screen later this year. Paul Mescal is here for it: https://t.co/QNNSLJWV6v pic.twitter.com/Fj1x3WRdli

I don't care a lick about either of these movies, but bringing back the concept of a double feature is actually a great way to drive people to the cinema. A discount if you see both movies, etc etc.

Going to the theatre to see a movie is so expensive and it just feels like such a bummer now. I loved going to $2 Tuesdays with friends back in the day. My friends and I used to go to movies constantly and I just can't imagine kids now being able to afford it, because I can't as a grown adult.

People are interested in movies, make it fun to go again!

Isn’t that what Alist and regal unlimited are for? I see 12 movies a month for $20.

There are 7,600,000,000 people in the world who do not live in the United States. Hard to believe, I know.

I wonder if that's why Inside Out 2 is so huge. All those families taking their kids to the movies is a lot of scratch so it's OK prob like 1000 people who saw that movie.

I miss drive-in movies which were always double features (sometimes 3). The last one in my down got demoed a few years ago and I still feel the pain.
