They killed off Gideon?? Did he get a proper goodbye or did they kill him off screen and that was that? Unless Mandy did guest star and I somehow missed it.

It was in 10x13. Mandy didn’t return but the episode was about him and Ben Savage played his younger self.

I quit the show when Hotch left (season 12 I think?) yet knowing Gideon died on S10 is somehow news to me, I completely forgot about it lol

Aside from the first two seasons or so I only regularly watched 3 seasons and would catch other episodes here and there. I keep meaning to rewatch from the beginning. Same with Cold Case but I def need breaks with these shows.

I kept up with storylines but completely forgot about Gideon til this thread! lol

That’s what I remember. Maybe not the violence per se, I think he didn’t realize how disturbing the show would be. I can’t comment on Homeland because I never watched it but from what I know, I can see an irony.

I think it would be totally fine if they just retconned Gideon's ~death because it was off screen and seems like no one remembers it (good).
