Probably because going to the movies just isn't affordable for a lot of people anymore. Like I could spend $20+ to see one movie in theaters or I could get lunch AND dinner & simply watch a movie on streaming for less... I'm going to take the latter

Some movie theaters have deals, which helps. The one by me does $5 movies on Tuesdays, and it's every movie, even new releases.

wasn't the actress playing Sabrina allergic to cats?

like if thats true they should have hired someone else because i need salem

She was allergic to one of the cats but not all of them? Idk. I thought Shipka was miscast in general because I don't like her as an actress. But the showrunners were also very apprehensive to make cat!Salem a key player, likely to avoid comparisons
