- TikToker Jessica Weslie Arena begged Vogue to "be astronomically for real" in their coverage given that Culpo has previously undergone a lash lift to improve the length of her eyelashes. Arena called the statement "deceiving," claiming that it was meant to imply Culpo's look was thanks to "natural beauty," which "sends a bad message to young girls.";
- Culpo's wedding dress has also been the subject of debate. Social media influencer Kennedy Bingham posted a video criticizing the Dolce & Gabbana gown, saying it had an "absence of personality" and was high-necked and long-sleeved as part of "a conservative campaign.";
- McCaffrey defended his wife in the comments, writing, "What an evil thing to post online. I hope you can find joy and peace in the world, the way my beautiful wife does." Culpo chimed in too, commenting, "Wow what an absolutely evil person you are. I hope no one ever tears you apart in this way because it's extremely hurtful. I love this dress and it was everything I ever wanted and more."
