Labour are definitely going to be in power but for the first time in my life I didn't vote labour. I live in a Labour stronghold, but all the other candidates are virtually the same. It's literally 4 right-wingers and 2 centrists. I voted Green instead but even then they were the best out of a group of horrible choices. This is just not a good area for me to live.

After Labour’s stance on the genocide in Gaza I couldn’t even bring myself to vote for them tactically. I went Green.

SAME. I can't vote for labour since they are basically Tories at this point. They are supporting a genocide ffs, and what Starmer has said about trans ppl is disgusting.

This is me, I was going to do it tactically if I needed to, but Starmer's stance on Gaza would not let me vote them in good conscience.

Same. My consistency voted for Labour by over 50% last time, I realise voting Green is a protest vote in this case, but I’ll be dammed if I vote Labour again, especially after Kier’s actions around trans people this week.

Same!! What he said about trans ppl and then the "protecting women only spaces" rhetoric really pissed me off.

Same, I was in a safe Labour constituency and loved voting Green.

My Green candidate seemed low effort no manifesto compared to other Greens. Lib Dem was bad vibes.

Only to find out later the Labour candidate (who is a major presence in the community) is a landlord. What a waste.

Greens have very little money compared to Lib Dem's. We (I'm a party member and do quite a bit internally) use a concept called target to win - we focused on four specific seats we believed we could win, so that's why you may have felt it was low effort.

First Past the Post is an abomination but given that's the system that you have to operate in, I think it was def the right call for you guys!

Absolutely- given that the four we targeted we have won, our tactics do work! What we really need is more members (more money and more people who can get stuck in) and more media coverage. I'm hoping with four MPs we might get that.

Fingers crossed on the more media coverage part. Can't help but feeling like the 4 Reform MPs will get wayyyyy more coverage than the 4 Greens ugh.

I def think it'll help with fundraising though and I think more left-leaning people who voted Labour just to oust the Tories will soon be uninspired/disappointed with Starmer so they could look your way/become members.
