If this isn't a runaway victory (or loss?) by Mayo I will be convinced that there's no hope for any election anywhere in the world due to a lack of sensible voting decisions.

I've begrudgingly voted for Justin Trudeau in three elections so far. 2025 will be no different, and neither will this poll but at least this time I'm voting for him because I want to!!

most of the lifelong liberals I know/all the whatsapp group chatter is indicating a huge push for the NDP next election. I've always been an NDP supporter grudgingly giving the Liberals my vote so as to avoid a conservative win, so I'm hoping these folks really aren't all talk.

if the party could put forward someone who had a legitimate chance at federal success and could be a viable answer to PP, I would be right there with them. as it stands I don't see Jagmeet being that person, but it's 15 months away so who knows what the landscape will be by then. I haven't voted NDP federally since Jack Layton in 2011, it'd be nice to do it again!

same! re jack Layton/voting ndp on the federal level

PP though...just, so many so many red flags about him. I agree Jagmeet doesn't seem like the strongest leader but I'm willing to take a chance on him
