there is something about her tone of voice when I listen to some of the tracks that just get on my nerves. Like the way her voice wails on certain songs that reminds me of a broken car alarm

One of the many reasons I couldn't get into her music. Her voice is so grating 🙉

Shit has just been paranormal because she's just been dead to me for a long time, much like her career.

Her voice is very grating. I remember when her song Thinking of You came out forever ago and that song was especially annoying because since it's a ballad, she's wailing throughout the whole song and everyone was praising it going "Omg amazing" and meanwhile just hearing snippets of it made me want to drive myself off a cliff. When that atrocious song Daisies came out a few years ago that song also gave me similar flashbacks and also made me want to drive myself off a cliff.

I...honestly don't know how I was able to ignore it with the TD album because I loved it enough to ignore certain parts or songs when she's doing that wailing
like with Hummingbird Heartbeat because...LOL in the lyrics she goes "You make me sound like a symphony" and then proceeds to wail out the word symphony and...um...yeah. The jokes write themselves there.
