Sylvester Stallone has a vast collection of fancy watches (unbeknownst to me) and he is putting some up for sale. Everyone is most excited because he is selling an ultra holy grail Patek Philippe 175th anniversary watch sealed in its packaging (this item sold for $5,400,000).
It comes with: large leather portfolio, Grandmaster Chime book stamped Sylvester Stallone, Collection book, travel case, cufflinks, USB, sealed setting pin and hang tag, further accompanied by an Apple iPad with Patek Philippe leather case, an adapter, Apple charger and earpods with Patek Philippe case, and a personally signed handwritten note from Sly saying thanks for giving him $5,400,000 bc he likes money and who needs watches when you can have money. Sly is actually selling 11 watches. No one cares about those.

It's only thumbnails because the actual pictures are HUGE and idk if imgbox has a resizing. Plus it is worth seeing them in all their glory. I love watches.
From
Sotheby'sGrandmaster Chime Reference 5175. Initiated by Philippe Stern in 2007, this ambitious project aimed to create the most intricate wristwatch in Patek Philippe's history, honoring its illustrious heritage since 1839. The Grandmaster Chime Ref 5175, featuring a distinctive hand-engraved case, stole the spotlight among the commemorative timepieces presented on this momentous occasion. Originally launched as a limited edition grande-sonnerie wristwatch ever added to the company’s current collection. Made with a reversible white gold case adorned with Patek Philippe's signature hobnail pattern, the development, production, and assembly spanned an astounding 100,000 hours. With a total of twenty complications, including five chiming modes, a reversible case, two independent dials, and six patented innovations, the Grandmaster Chime epitomizes horological excellence.
I looked up grande-sonnerie because I do not speak French! French for “grand strike” - A mechanical watch complication with both a quarter striking mechanism and a repeater. An internal gong is struck every quarter hour, audibly indicating which quarter hour it is. Repeaters are side buttons you can press to trigger the chime.I guess it's a really big deal! I feel much smarter now.
I don't know enough about watches to really understand any of that paragraph. But $5,400,000 for a single watch is.........
