I want to see A Quiet Place: Day One, but idk when we'll get to it - Dolby is full tonight, my husband has a thing tomorrow night, and we're going to see Pulp Fiction on Saturday night. Maybe next week.

The Celine doc looks so sad, damn. :/

Not interested in seeing it, but I'm curious to see how Kevin Costner's movie does this weekend.

The only movie I've watched so far this week is You Can't Take it With You, which was delightful, if a little bit It's a Wonderful Life-lite. My love for Jimmy Stewart only grows stronger!!

Just spent 20 mins making a new userpic to go with this comment, lol.

As the resident Costner fan (lol) I’m surprised I haven’t read too many projections for Horizon. There was such a build up and the reviews have gotten better but now it’s like a deflated balloon. I’m sure it’ll have a decent box office because the olds and conservatives who don’t realize he’s not actually a conservative, will buy tix.

The projections I've seen in r/boxoffice have been all over the place that's for sure but trending down. Even keeping in mind that most of the tickets will be coming from walkups/older demographic, I feel like it being 3 hours is going to hurt it? But I wouldn't be surprised if it's also a modest hit considering how much of a following Yellowstone/Costner has.

Oooo true, I could see a lot of tickets being bought day of. But for a FOUR part movie…this will for sure flop in the end.

Tbh I would prob see it if it looked better because I miss the “epic” movie experience but I don’t think I could sit through this shit lol.
