she didn't completely lose rights, she still sees her son but on vacations when he can come to london since she can't consistently get a u.s. visa to go to los angeles.

the son is a teenager now and i kind of assume that even though she was complaining about how she couldn't get a u.s. visa and she couldn't see her son, part of it is her son is probably choosing to stay in los angeles with his non conspiracy theory addicted father and stepmother and friends instead of going to london to see her all the time.
