I can't blame them, being hot is miserable. My mom's husband is stingy with the AC, it was 79 degrees inside the house this morning when I got up at 6am.

That isn't even factoring humidity. Which is fucking worse than the heat alone.

Last week is was in the mid-high 90s here. With the humidity it was well over 100.

I'm in Canada and I laugh when people think it is cold everywhere here. Like, nope! We get temperatures here that rival tropical places near the damn equator. 🥵 😢

I used to think my dad was so stingy when he'd wait so long to put our ACs in and then restrict how often we could use them, and then I had to start paying my own energy bills and like...I get it now, because that shit is unreasonably expensive.
