Maybe it was an old helmet. Not many people realize helmets expire. They should be replaced every 2 years I think. (Not sure about horse riding helmets)

people dont realize that helmets only save your life in about 40% of accidents. they arent like seatbelt levels of life saving.

Yea I think it was just a really unfortunate accident in terms of the way he fell and landed, like how some people come out unscathed when if they had been mere centimeters in another direction it could have killed them.

Wearing a helmet it always an excellent idea. But, Reeve didn’t have a head injury, he had a spinal injury. In the end it was an adverse reaction to a drug the nurses administered as he was being treated for sepsis that ended his life.

The grilled cheese comment is unnecessary and also that’s not all how or why Christopher Reeves died. If you don’t know what you’re talking about you don’t need to comment.
