Inside Out 2 is the first Disney movie released under the pure Disney banner this year that isn't a re-release and the first movie this year to open over 100$m. It is also the biggest opening for an animated movie overseas (though it's the second biggest stateside, only behind Incredibles 2)
- Inside Out 2 opens with 155m$ - Estimates rose from 80m$ weekend early Sat. to 120$m - 130$m range.
- Bad Boys 4 - wk 2 / 33$m - the franchise has crossed 1B$ WW, thanks to Ride or Die.
- Apes are back with 5.5m. It's in its 6th week of release and was 5 last week.
- Garfield has 5m$ in 4th.
- IF Passes 100$m with 3.4m.
