2024 Tony Awards

Jun 16, 2024 08:10

Technical awards will be presented during the pre-show ceremony, hosted by Julianne Hough and Utkarsh Ambudkar, which will run from 6:30 to 8 p.m. ET on Pluto TV. The 77th Annual Tony Awards will be broadcast on CBS on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET. They will also be streamed live on Paramount+ and CBS.com.

For the first time in the history of the Tony Awards, this year the Tonys will be held at Lincoln Center in New York City. The telecast will take place in the David H. Koch Theater, the home of the New York City Ballet. The Tonys had historically been held at Radio City Music Hall until last year, when they moved uptown to the United Palace in Washington Heights. For the third year in a row, Ariana DeBose will host the prime-time ceremony.

The show will feature performances from the casts of Stereophonic, Cabaret, Hell’s Kitchen, Illinoise, Merrily We Roll Along, Suffs, The Outsiders, The Who’s Tommy, and Water for Elephants. Presenters at the ceremony include Cynthia Erivo, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Sean Hayes, Jennifer Hudson, Angelina Jolie, Nick Jonas, Idina Menzel, Ben Platt, Anthony Ramos, Pete Townshend, Tamara Tunie, Adrienne Warren, and Jeffrey Wright.

The Tony Awards are our version of the Super Bowl so we should get to enjoy the pre-pre-pre-pre show all day too!
