A hacker will bypass this. But also YouTube premium is one of the few services I pay for since it’s what I mainly watch for research, things I can’t find like (laugh if you’d like) but old 80’s cartoons like Jem lol, as well as my normal channels and I use it to sleep so I’m used to no ads. I was at my boo’s house and he doesn’t have it and omfg the amount of ads that occur in a 20 minute video is nuts. lol. I also use it to listen to obscure music that isn’t available for streaming since it’ll play when my phone screen is closed and locked.
i dont pay for youtube premium but have adblocker on web browser so dont see ads on youtube while on my laptop. i still have youtube app on my phone but im not really the long video watching type, ill switch to laptop for that. i was helping a friend jump start car/change car battery so i youtubed a video on my phone to ensure we do it correctly. my friend was aghast, like omg how do you live with the ads let me add you to our family plan lmao
I keep thinking that I should really start paying for YouTube Premium as I do use it near enough every day, and the ads seem to be getting more intrusive lately. Urgh £12 a month just seems really expensive to me though compared to other streaming services like Disney+ which are usually more around £7.99 or thereabouts, even Netflix at the most expensive is still only £10.99 for an HD plan, so I don’t know why YouTube Premium is priced so much higher. And then they don’t even have an annual plan to help save some of the costs.
I had the 2 months free trial of YouTube Premium and it is life changing, but I dunno if I can justify it all the time. If I cancel Netflix I'll probably get YouTube Premium.
