I had to remove the adblock on youtube at the beginning of the year cause youtube purposely would the video pretty much unwatchable by slow loading.

uBlock Origin is what I use and it's perfect

It's a great one (although I keep AdBlock running as well). It's brilliant for Radio Garden if you're located in the UK using that site to listen to radio stations in other countries. <3

I use uBlock Origin too, but unfortunately it isn't effective against this new ad injection technique. I guess I was unlucky in being chosen as one of the guinea pigs for this new roll out.

Idk if this is the same thing, but that happened for a few days for me, but I think the adblock companies released something saying it was an error and not something Youtube intentionally did. ETA: Did some research and it may still be partly Youtube, but the main error seems to be with Opera. I haven't had issues with it since, so it might be worth trying again. I have both Ublock and Adblock installed on Chrome.
