Ads have the opposite effect on me, it's guaranteed I will never want your product.

I had a friend who ran a super, super successful business. She said if you have to turn to groupon or YouTube ads to drum up money ....it's not great. Exceptions apply. But I don't even know if I can think of a time an ad influenced me TO buy something:

Wolt and Glovo delivery services run ads on YouTube fucking nonstop. I surely don't understand why and it's so annoying

I feel like this with the ones I see all the time, it puts me off.

It depends on the age group. There's a large group of adults that see ads as bad because we grew up with the pop ups = virus porn sites and they're largely the group that is wary of ads but there are a lot of people who will click on ads (works in marketing)
