I can't remember what the story was but I've been following that journalist (Brandy Zadrozny) for a while and she is really incredible. I feel like we're all more or less despondent at the media at large, but when you find great reporters and follow them you can get great news!!

Yesss! I with I could find the woman who wrote an amazing first hand article in either the NYT or New Yorker about her life with a child she wanted to abort and the life she still thinks she could have had (it's not as it sounds, she writes about it well, not in a fairyland way) and the various influences on her keeping her son.
