Burlesque The Musical Opens in Manchester
Welcome to Burlesque the Musical, the glamorous, gritty and outrageously fun new musical based on the much-loved hit movie.

Written by Steven Antin, with additional material by Kate Wetherhead, and directed and choreographed by Nick Winston, BURLESQUE THE MUSICAL is a scintillating journey of self-discovery that absolutely sizzles with songs by Christina Aguilera, Sia and Diane Warren, alongside additional songs by Jess Folley.
Following an unprecedented sold-out season at Manchester Opera House in June, the production will make its Scottish Premiere in Glasgow in September, and return to the Manchester Opera House in October, prior to a West End transfer.
Co-producer Christina Aguilera was notably absent for the premiere. She was seen with RAYE performing in a private event in Morocco. Whoever booked them said vocalists only.

Wow wow wow the debut of @jessfolley as singer song writer and actress playing ‘Ali Rose’ in her debut musical #Burlesque she the rest of the crew completely wowed & blew away the audience that we thought the real ‘Christina Aguilar’ was in the building!
