Most of the voice cast for Inside Out 2 attended the world premiere of their film in Los Angeles. Notably missing were Phyllis Smith (Sadness), Adèle Exarchopoulos (Ennui), Paul Walter Hauser (Embarrasment), and Diane Lane (Riley's mom).

Per Belloni’s sources, Mindy Kaling and Bill Hader will not be returning to voice Disgust and Fear, respectively, because they were offered just 2 percent the salary of Amy Poehler, who is returning as lead character Joy. Apparently, Poehler was offered $5 million “plus additional fees and bonuses,” while the rest of the main cast was offered just $100,000, no bonuses.

doesn't Amy's character have far more screen time than Mindy's and Bill's combined? I agree that it's a "low" number considering profits and all, but it makes sense to me that Amy would make more money than them. It's not an ensemble film, Joy and Sadness are absolutely the leads lol

all the clips so far seem to indicate that the original emotions have more screentime, and that it’s more of an ensemble movie than the original.

plus Hader provided additional dialogue/script work for the first movie, and both of their profiles have increased in the past ten years since the OG so. $100K w/no bonuses for all that promotion and having their names on the poster is low for all of them imo. Phyllis Smith was the co-lead of the original and her character is so well liked! she deserved more too

No, I definitely agree that they should be paid more - it's fucking Disney after all - but I think it makes sense that Amy would make more than them. I'm sure the characters have more screentime in this one, but Joy and Sadness are definitely the MVPs (so absolutely agree about Phyllis too).
