ok this actually was a genuine spoiler for me lol I've avoided watching this movie for years because I knew the dog died in it and it was an important aspect of the movie, but I was able to avoid HOW she died this whole time.

Now I'm sad and horrified I finally know and absolutely for sure will never watch any version of it lol

Same! Never seen this film, and I knew the dog died and that was kinda my reason for not watching it but now that I know exactly how it happens... absolutely not. Can't stand animals being hurt.

In any case... I still put spoiler tags when discussing old movies because you never know. About a year ago a coworker watched The Lion King for the first time. She had no idea [Spoiler (click to open)]Mufasa dies. How was she able to avoid that information for 30 years, I'll never know.

So that makes it ok??

If I told you that the Titanic sinks at the end of the movie, would that be ok just because the movie is almost 20 years old?

Think about it.
