i work in an icu and the amount of antivaxxers, antimaskers, they eat nothing but organic, non gmo is staggering. like, how are you medical professionals and are this stupid? it was shocking at first. but it’s uh. quite the norm.

my sister in law is a surgical nurse like this.

at least she believes in medicine, because my brother, her husband, has heart issues and refuses to take the meds the doctor prescribed because he's on supplements. he's not even 40 and has a stent in his heart and was told he might not make it to his kids' graduations.

I remember during COVID, all of those nurses were on strike. It was BAFFLING to see.

I used to work admin in a hospital’s ENT clinic and a couple of the nurses were really heavy smokers. One of my coworkers told me how surprised she was by this because they literally worked around people with throat vocal boxes (I can’t remember the name anymore) on a daily basis and still refused to try to kick the habit.

yeah i’m the unit clerk so not a clinical position but uh, was shocked at the amount of GQP types i have surrounding me. even had a bitcoin bro. he left to go to CRNA school this past friday. my manager is apparently a closet alcoholic (got that tea from their own sibling shit talking them right at the front desk aka my desk.) and they are also a heavy smoker. 🤷🏻‍♀️
