Even back in the day, from how it was presented in the press, I always thought that she was the one who wanted to adopt children, and he was just dating her unrelated to that :/

Yeah I mean he’s a textbook narcissist and “needed” to want kids because that’s the reason he said he and Aniston weren’t together. So of course he was going go at least half assed pretend he wanted kids. He had to so he could maintain his image. I believe he thinks he loves his kids. What he defines as “love” is the narcissist’s version.

Because he does. In the earlier days of the custody battle papers were filed saying that Maddox and Pax didn't want to spend time with him anymore and his legal response was that was fine, but for every hour of time that he missed with them, the "three younger kids" (literally the biological ones) had to make up.

to me that has more to do with the fact that maddox and pax were old enough where their desire to see him was considered rather than bio/adopted kid preference and wanting the younger kids to make up their time seems like jsut another abuse tactic more than anything

Yeah I came here to say the same thing.

And I’m sure the children can tell he favors the biological children over the adopted children too which is yet another reason on the long list of reasons they don’t fuck with him… he may not see some of his children as his real children but the kids see all of their siblings as their real siblings.

His team always knows how to put down the adopted kids while claiming his love for the bio kids. It’s so disgusting.

I remember rumors way, way back that he always preferred his bio kids/wanted more bio kids while Angelina wanted to adopt. This was also when everyone was in their "This is the best love story in history!!!!" about Angelina and Brad so they were dismissed as vicious Angelina haters making it up, but his recent quotes make me think the rumors were always correct.

Didn't some document or source leak that they fought over whether to adopt Pax, and Brad was against it? I think that was one of the early stories that came out in the wake of their split. I remember it because it made me feel so bad for their son, having to hear that.

I believe so, yes. Like, he wanted lots of bio kids and wasn't really "into" adoption, which, is really weird if you get with someone who clearly cares about adopting kids and had already adopted at least one by herself, if I remember correctly?

And yeah, you KNOW that attitude was felt by all of the kids.
