For real! Many years ago my friend's boyfriend came to visit her and had some gnarly bug bites but decided to go swimming at Bay St Louis; which was murky and the temperature of bathwater. The next day he got sepsis and had to go to urgent care. It was really scary because we were in our 20's at the time and partying pretty hard and it was like hahaha what the fuck is going on?!

According to their InStyle interview, they were filming a bathtub scene and the props department put Dawn dish soap - instead of bubble bath - into the water, and it dried their skin out over so many takes that it started flaking off. 🤨
