The 30th anniversary of the murders of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman is this June. Nicole's three sisters said that their motivation in making this documentary is to let people know who she was as a person, not just as a murder victim. Nicole was only 18 years old when she began dating 30 year old football star OJ Simpson. The documentary includes interviews with over 50 friends and family members (including Kris Kardashian whose husband was on OJ's defense team). The two part documentary airs on Lifetime this weekend.
Nicole's three sisters talk about the upcoming documentary. They said they didn't realize the extent of the domestic violence at the time that it was happening. [sensitive content] Nicole's older sister said when she was at Nicole's house in the early days of her relationship with OJ, she found a polaroid of Nicole with a black eye. She was shocked but Nicole said, "Isn't in wonderful? A makeup artist painted a black eye on me." Her sister said, "Wow, it looks so real," and tossed the picture back in a drawer. She didn't realize until several years later that it was a real black eye and that Nicole was documenting OJ's abuse. When Nicole was pregnant, OJ told her that he did not want her to give birth vaginally or to breastfeed the baby.
