oh like how DS9 struggled to find its audience while it was airing but is now praised pretty effusively?

I kinda hope so. It didn't always work but it tried to do some fresh different things. Also without it, we wouldn't have hot Space Daddy Captain Pike.

I don't think so lol, it was incredibly painful to get through way too often. That said, if the ending is good that will help. I haven't watched s5 and I love trek, and most fans seem to be not into it.

It's not like Enterprise has been re-evaluated as some sort of great television. It just happened.

I've definitely heard a lot of people say the later seasons of Enterprise are underrated

Underrated probably ranks as "worth watching at all", which is not what people speak of the series as generally unless they're a completionist

I also think the Thirteenth Doctor's era is unfairly maligned
