Cher has won her years-long copyright lawsuit against Sonny Bono's widow over royalty payments from the Sonny & Cher catalog

-Mary Bono (Sonny Bonos wife) attempted to claim in 2021 that through termination rights she could stop paying royalties to Cher for any Cher & Sono songs.

-Cher wasnt standing for it and brought it to court.

-Cher has since won her lawsuit against her greedy ex-husbands wife.

-Mary Bono will now owe Cher about $418,000 in royalties that would’ve been paid out to Cher as of June 30, 2022.
