Dua Lipa had some amazing numbers. I saw that she just added Dance The Night to the digital version of her new album, supposedly to inflate its streamings and Forbes published a story about her flopping. I hate when people rejoice on female artists “failing”.

I have yet to hear her album, but she just posted about the Palestine genocide, so I’m now very favorable of her.

I really like the album. It doesn't have the highs of Future Nostalgia but I like what a chill rooftop party vibe it has.

I'm really hating this flop narrative on dua's latest album. it's a sleeper hit for me.

Her albums have never done huge numbers in the first weeks, iirc. They grow on you.

dua's whole career has been slow burns and idk why people are acting like it was anything different than that.

It's not a flop. It's mature pop.

I recently have gotten into Dua & Ari thanks to the fitness marshall. I realized I liked a lot of their songs but had no clue they were the ones behind them. Their most recent albums are the only ones I listened to the day they dropped. Eternal Sunshine has been in my rotation since. I forgot about Dua until this comment. I need to give it a couple more listens. Or wait for fitness marshall to drop routines to random tracks & fall for them that way.
