I mean, cool, but my fellow women need to realize that we're not just encouraged to prioritize men romantically; in all areas of our lives, men reign supreme. We should turn our energies toward women when possible: Have a woman doctor, dentist, or therapist; prioritize women's businesses, knowledge, books, films, etc.

Statistically, everyone should be seeing women medical professionals, but especially women should be. But yes, more energy towards the women in your life at all levels (friends, people you admire, people you put your trust in, people you shop from. etc.).

I use to be a part of a board gaming group and it was 95% men. The regulars who were women either only showed sporadically or were there with their significant others. I've since joined a group of women board gamers and the vibe has been completely different and much more welcoming.

I love board games. How does one go about finding these groups?

I found a lot of local groups on Meetup! Even the library has board game afternoons/evenings sometimes, so you can check there. I also had a lot of luck with my city's local subreddit.

Damn I'm jealous. My boardgame group is also mostly dudes. They're very welcoming even to absolute newbies so I don't have much to complain but I'd love a women only group.

I’ve been thinking of joining a run club; m I went for a popular, pretty male dominant one and the energy was great but pretty aggressive (guys were pushing 4/4.5 mins per km, it was very loud and enthusiastic for beer). I’ve just managed to find an all women club recently which I’ve been assured is chill and friendly and I’m very excited to try it instead!

This is where I'm at in my life. I simply do not care about the opinions of men, any man, and I do not centre them in any way. I will always try to put women first.

I always try to see female doctors, also because I feel much more comfortable with them. My only male doctor is my dermatologist and that's because we only have 2 in my city and the female one didn't accept new patients.
