But I’m Applebees pissed now this season is going to forever be flooded by people accusing the woman of not playing the game at all when the man should’ve won which is what some of this discourse is tilting to be

"I'm applebees pissed" is too funny, whoever manages their survivor promotion deserves a nice bonus for this season.

But yeah I'm so sick of social women winners always getting lambasted for their game. I honestly would have been super happy for both Charlie or Kenzie, they both played strong games. I think Charlie didn't get as much social game credit - him telling Tiff about the idol news and him egging on the Maria/Q duo talk were subtle and great ways to manipulate trust and tribe mate sentiment. Kenzie was great at positioning other people as targets over herself, and I think a lot of her strategy was in her performance at tribal council. Subtle things like calling Charlie the dependable dog, praising Maria to the high heavens, amomg other statements make an impact of the jury regarding the game, it's just not as flashy as playing an idol or "big moves" branded so it's not credited as "game".

Yes! I was watching a video with Austin and Frannie weighing in on who they thought was going to win, and it was really telling that her calling him a dog right in front of the jury with NO pushback from him was the thing that made them go "Oof" the most. And yeah, pumping up Maria's ego as she got ousted and so many other things.

I went to it for the first time in a while (maybe high school was the last time but I think I'm conflating it with chilis). It was so mediocre, but whatever. Kenzie apparently went to applebees with her after they got back from filming and was shocked to learn Liz actually does go every Wednesday. She thought it was just for show!

And Ia, I though Charlie's social game wasn't quite picked upon enough. I thought Kenzie was underselling herself a little strategically. I thought of her as more strategically aware than she let herself onto be, like still working with Q and Tiff while making other meaningful connections even though she was on the outskirts of the 6, and the way she withheld certain things from Charlie/Maria so they both realized they were gunning for each other at tribal was a pretty neat move for someone that had some strategy missteps in the game.
