I mean, it was one song and after that he made music that was not country at all.

also, I feel like the country carter era is kinda dying?

Renaissance felt like there was more staying power

I’m feel like Renaissance had a dip, then Cuff It was big on TikTok and then the tour really ramped things back up. If Beyoncé announces a tour or a residency, CC will get big again.

She needs to do something. She’s probably going to hold all the music videos hostage until act 3 is done for some reason.
Renaissance Tour movie isn’t even out to stream yet either.
I don’t get her game

I am DYING for renaissance to come onto streaming. I wasn’t able to see it in theatres cause of the ridiculous release schedule in Europe.

Renaissance IMO is the better album and the collage-esque feel works better with a house/club music album than a country album.

I liked Cowboy Carter but there’s been a ton of new releases and Beyonce hasn’t done any promo, no real visuals for it and no tour announcement.

And tbh I am still very confused by the whole three Acts. I still have faith in Bey but it just feels pretty uncharacteristically haphazardly planned? And also the whole vinyl fiasco with Cowboy Carter. IDK I wonder if she pushed this out to have something qualify for next year’s Grammys.

We already know that the release timeline changed since CC was supposed to come first. As for the acts, I think the reclamation of genre seems pretty clear. What do you think is confusing?

I understand the intent but her promotion of the material and general marketing has been lackluster. But I mean, if she doesn’t want to promote it she doesn’t have to obviously. There just seemed a lot more of a push behind Renaissance with the tour and the movie, but now there’s nothing for CC. Feels like radio silence from her since CC was released. But maybe we will get something big after Act III comes out.

Hmm, IMO it seems like her treatment of Cowboy Carter is very in line with how she has been promoting as of late. She has been pretty mum after the release of her other projects as well. With Renaissance, the tour came a year after the album, and then the movie came out late that year after visuals had been teased since 2022.

I guess that’s right, I think since Break My Soul and Cuff It were hits the album just seemed in heavy rotation and discussions. I think if CC was released in the summer Texas Hold ‘Em would’ve been even bigger.

I really wish Beyonce would promote just a little bit more. Even 2-3 music videos I think could really extend the life of the era just a little longer. Or a handful of live performances.

CC would be more hyped rn if she finally rolled out a tour annoucement

Or a damn music video or live performance somewhere.
Her trean pushed out 2 Most Wanted to radio. It debuted at #6 on hot 100 and the next week, down to the 90’s.

That song is destined to be a hit (as well as other tracks from CC), but she’s retired from being a singles artist, and it’s frustrating as a fan

yeah I'm feeling a little confused by the choices as well. I was READY to shell out coin for the CC tour but now I've been waiting for almost two months so I'm like ??? what's going on, where's the momentum???

Holding onto the Renaissance videos would have made sense at best til the end of the tour or during it happening.

But it makes even less sense now for CC.

And if she’s touring again, there’s still time to annnounce something for 2025

I felt like she was strongly hinting at the tour announcement then it just kinda fizzled out :(
