She's hustles, I'll give her that cause her last #1 was Señorita back in 2019. I would've thought that she maybe would've faded after that cause her next singles didn't do so well.

She's also clearly trying to move away from the latin sound being her main marker.

I feel that. I Luv It felt like a longshot in the wrong direction but this track feels more natural for her & her vocals. If she's playing the field to find a good new fit, she should stay in this lane and explore it a bit

YES pop 2 is iconic in the hyperpop space so I clocked that Camila was biting her style immediately lol. On that note that album has aged soooo well, still in rotation for me

I'm up and down with Charli's music cause I usually don't get it immediately but then I'll randomly hear in some tiktok then get it lol. But yeah Charli has got the hyperpop genre locked up!

i go back and forth on charli because i love rina sawayama sooooo much and idk what happened there but charli has been giving me the ick for awhile. but her impact is undeniable and some of her songs are too chef's kiss to just abandon forever.

I think it was because of Matty Healy but I have no concrete evidence and obvs idk either of them personally. Rina and Charli distancing themselves happened around the same time Rina called out Matty on his shit, and iirc Charli was pap'd hanging with Matty around the same time.

I like Charli but she very much strikes me as the type of person to be like "idc what people say I know the REAL you" if that makes sense (hence her Julia Fox namedrop in 360) meanwhile Rina is more the type of gal to stand on business
