🇸🇮 RTVSLO has shared a press release following the events of #Eurovision 2024.

They seek "concrete answers" from the EBU about the exclusion of the Netherlands, use of anti-booing technology and possible influence of sponsors, among other issues.

It needs a whole overhaul from the inside out. Eurovision is one of my fave nights of the year, and it was ruined this year. It should be cheesy camp pop with vaguely humerous neighbourly voting blocs, not this shite.

Some Israelis in my friend circle were literally posting in our common WhatsApp groups and asking everyone to vote for Israel in exchange for shots/a drink/whatever they wanted. And of course some people did it.
