like she didn't know about ovulation? also there's no reason to ever specify what you're going to the bathroom to do. why would anyone want to know?

also there's no reason to ever specify what you're going to the bathroom to do.

Came in here to say this. Are there toilet gatekeepers? Just go to the bathroom. You don't even need to say that's where you're going.

You seem really determined to miss the point

Why are you so angry? I'm just saying you don't need to qualify going to the bathroom.

Yes, there are toilet gatekeepers, your men coworkers who complain how long it takes female coworkers.

Also, pray tonight you never get IBD

Yeah, okay, I get that. idk as someone who just sometimes goes to the bathroom not because I have to do anything but just because I want to be away from people I've never felt beholden to inform people what I'm going to be doing in there. It's the bathroom, it's your own business. But if telling your men coworkers you need to go to the bathroom to change your tampon and that stops them from challenging you, go for it.

Yeah, I had a coworker say "why do you go to the washroom, like, every hour?" and I said "because otherwise I'll bleed through my pants" and he shut the fuck up.

Probably not just ovulation but the reasons it can be delayed or absent. OBs will still tell women to “try for day 14” regardless of how long their cycles are.

exactly. as someone ttc atm, i've only ever know about a 'standard' cycle and it has taken almost a year to finally be able to consistently pinpoint my own ovulation, what is a healthy time of ovu. i didn't know anything about luteal phases and how the length of this can impact implantation. there's so much women (and men, my partner had NO idea about any of this but not surprising) are not taught about something that most of us go through every month. i think what jessica is doing is great and long overdue.

MTE about the bathroom. I don't need to be told someone needs to go poop either.

Yes, exactly, if someone has got to go, they have got to go whatever the reason and should not be impeded.

Now no one should feel embarrassed asking for supplies (I was embarrassed to have my dad get pads for me when I was a kid, like 10/11, and my parents were like stop it, so dad got the pads) if you don't have them, but I don't need to know anything about your actual bathroom situation.
