Yorgos Lanthimos and Emma Stone has been officially cast as the leads in “Bugonia”, a remake of the Korean film ‘Save the Green Planet’.
“Bugonia” follows two conspiracy-obsessed young men who kidnap the high-powered CEO of a major company, convinced that she is an alien intent on destroying planet Earth.
In the original film it’s a guy and his girlfriend who kidnap and torture a middle aged businessman thinking he’s an alien so in my previous post I assumed Emma was playing the girlfriend but it seems I was wrong. Your mileage may vary if this makes things better or worse. 😬
