Silk: Spider Society is not moving forward at Amazon and Sony is shopping it to other buyers.
The series would have focused on Cindy Moon, a Korean-American woman bitten by the same spider that bit Peter Parker, as she escapes imprisonment and searches for her missing family on her way to becoming the superhero known as Silk.
The show had gone through several shifts behind the scenes, including a request to Angela Kang and her writing team to not make the show as centered on the title character.
