if a genie could grant me one wish i would wish for every man who said “so what? it’s just your period” or minimized how painful they can be to experience it

For approximately six days. Non-stop. And of course you have to go to school and/or work.

"Do you know how much money we'd lose if you take off time every month?"
Sir, the only thing I can think of is "AM I NOT LEAKING".

The feeling when you stand up after sitting for a while it just all comes out 😫 (I can’t wear tampons and had a scary experience with a diva cup so I use period underwear and pads).

I run straight to the bathroom and am terrified my work clothes were covered in blood.

And make sure to smile the whole time lest you come across as a bitch.

This comment makes me think of that machine that can simulate period cramps and men always keel over on the lowest setting while women don’t even flinch.

i bought the machine and honestly its like a really pleasant massage (actually helped me a lot for back pain), men i know tried to act tough but then said they dont want to do anymore after 15 minutes

I read that it actually is meant to help with muscle pain and I am tempted to get one myself.

it only "simulates period pain" if you put it in that area but even then its more like...productive cramping? like when you get a massage it hurts but it feels great right after. thats what the machine feels like, and it has different modes too. i definitely recommend it especially for sleep comfort.

That totally makes sense. I am that person that needs a 6 step sleep regimen to get even just a decent night’s sleep so that makes me want to try it even more!

we internalize/put up with so much pain on a regular basis and yet every man i have ever known acts like the world is ending when he gets a cold lmao

lol truuuue. I will admit I am a baby if I have nausea but only because it makes me anxious and not want to leave the house because a big fear is shitting my pants or throwing up in public.

I love watching videos of men trying those period simulators. They’re usually dying by the time it’s on 5 (out of 10).
