There was an article I saw on Instagram (idk if it was posted here) about how things have changed since the writer's strike last year.

This gist is that things have NOT improved for writers (shocker) and that it's even more unstable. A lot of the writers have to find other unrelated work to pay their bills and stay afloat.

The article also mentions it's become so much harder to pitch shows to networks and execs unless it's from a big name. So this isn't surprising.

Times like this I am so so so sad I flopped in starting my TV writing career in 2015-2016. It was my dream and those execs at the network writing programs truly broke me, I'm so grateful I got myself out
