ABC used to have THE lineup for fall. Along with the WB and NBC.

There's no such thing as must-see TV anymore. Hasn't been in years with streaming.

We were warned about this during the writer's strike. I remember seeing that if they didn't end the strike by Halloween, that there wouldn't be much scripted television, there just wasn't enough time to get the work done.

Studios didn't care, they didn't want to pay residuals any more.
