I’m not a Coldplay fan, but even I have to admit that Rush of Blood to the Head is a no skip album. They know how to write an anthemic ballad. Although I agree that they have been riding off the success of their first 3 albums for like 20 years.

I’d also argue U2 are still a much better band in terms of their discography.

viva la vida had some good songs on it i'd argue, but as whole albums yes i'd say the first three only. everything after that is a couple good songs sprinkled amongst a bunch of filler

I could even allow Clocks and Speed of sounds (but this one already follows the Coldplay recipe so it falls under recycling for me)
