I don't think I've ever been in love tbh. I've had hard crushes and had been infatuated with people, but love? Don't know that. Don't understand it. Never experienced it.

I haven’t either. I remember a guy I was interested in (and allllll the parties agreed he was super flirty with me) was SHOCKED that I had never been in love by 21 then after maaaaany flirty texts and conversations I was like “so is this going to happen??” He said he was dating someone (who was married and kept saying she was going to leave him…sure, Jan) and admitted he was leading me on and I was like “geeee, wonder why I’ve never been in love!”

I wish dudes did not learn to manipulate women to this degree. That is so fucked. So many men do this regularly and treat women like playthings. I assume there are also men treating other men like playthings too. But damn. (And yes there are women like this too. It’s terrible all around IG)

Agreed! I hate that I fell for that (I of course texted him after thinking I could change his thought process but luckily we didn’t get physical) and this gives me chicken or the egg vibes. They are forgiven and expected to act this way, lbr, and they take advantage of it. I remember I was 21 and he was 26 and when I was 26….i wouldn’t waste my time playing those mind games, let alone with a 21 year old.

When I was in my early 30s I was at an event for people to meet and hook up, I found out a woman I was talking to was 21 and I peaced out immediately! Ain’t no way!
