It took me three tries to get through it. I know it's fiction, but Texas turning blue at the end really took me out. I can believe quirky~ characters being quirky, but Texas turning blue?! No way. Also Uma and her accent 😬

I borrowed the book from the library as kept seeing it featured everywhere and the movie was announced, I got about a third in and had to give up, it was so bad! I tried the movie and it was the same, I couldn’t finish it…

it's terrible, but fun terrible. and we deserve fun garbage too, not just pretty boring straight people. me and my bestie had a blast gawking through the whole thing <3

I think that’s what made it appealing lol I hated this book but I thought the film was silly but fun I liked it a lot better the second watch.
