Listen you're not wrong but this show is such a stressful watch that I can't imagine having to wait week to week to find out what happens lol.

I love the show (although Season 1 > Season 2 imo) but I agree re: the writing. I think the cast definitely elevates the material (except for you, Jamie Lee Curtis).

Omg Edie Falco (or Katey Sagal) was my dream casting for that character!

Apparently Michelle Pfeiffer was their first choice, but she turned it down for some reason. It's a shame, she would've been so much better than JLC's hammy ass.

Jamie Lynn Curtis was jarringly miscast in that role. it felt like someone from a community theatre troupe wandered onto set

It genuinely pisses me off that she'll probably win an Emmy for that performance, in a coat-tail ass nomination/win smh.

Yes, and the cast as an ensemble. I fucking cringe at Carmy's AlAnon or whatever monologues and usually his family memory episodes.
