If you haven't watched S1, the premise of the show is that vampires are now kind of stuck up snobs who only want to turn hot & super athletic humans into new vampires. Reginald is not considered good enough which is what causes conflict in the first season. He also spends a good amount of S1 learning how to be a vampire and how to use his powers which is often hilarious. Bonus: bisexual vampires, lesbian assassins, and most of the main characters are POC. S1 is available on Hulu and is only 10 episodes long.
