Macklemore released this song today in support of Palestinians facing genocide in Gaza and for pro-Palestinian protesters on college campuses. He even threw in a comment about the Kendrick/Drake beef. Once the song is on

today i saw videos 3 different human beings, including two tiny children, take their last breath, and then of a man picking up red strips flesh into a bag because that was all that was left of someone, and then the skin peeling off a toddler who had been burned head to toe as doctors tried to clean him. these people have nowhere to go. THERE IS NOWHERE TO GO.

i don't know what to do with this all this carnage, i don't know where to put all this horror. but looking away feels like a betrayal and acquiescence. i can't reconcile that there is this much suffering happening and we have to fucking scream for people to see the humanity in others.

Someone on Twitter made a great point that the IOF gave Palestinians in Gaza less than 12 hours to "evacuate" Gaza, which means it wasn't anywhere near enough time for Palestinians with disabilities to leave Gaza. What's happening in Gaza is a disability issue. It's a women's issue. It's a climate issue. And if governments don't care about those issues in Gaza, how can we truly believe they'll care about those issues back home?

I saw her comments in the post after the fact, she was getting overwhelmed by rudeness directed her way (particularly by this one user who likes to harass her by way of comment emoji reactions), so I'm guessing she's temporarily deactivated and is taking a break from ONTD. I don't blame her for being upset and hope she'll return when she's ready.

She’s also rude, and she later personally attacked that user. She regularly would talk over and be mean to other disabled users too.

meh, idk if i really buy that she was being harrassed via comment reactions. from what i saw that user went out of her way to be condescending and rude to quite a few people here, including people with disabilities which she claimed to be an advocate for… and then yesterday she topped it off with a personal attack. i probably would've deactivated my account too after acting like that. there's really no excuse for the way she's behaved.

I didn't see the personal attack, so if that's the case, then I stand corrected. But as to the rest, there are a lot of users on here who are abrasive to each other and haven't been banned for that yet (including some people in that post).
